Azure Integration with Funnel
Azure Integration with Funnel
Azure AD Single Sign On (SSO) automatically signs users in without the need to enter a username or password. Client’s that utilize Azure, may elect to add Funnel to their corporate network to allow their users to access Funnel as they would other applications used onsite.
Setting Up Azure AD SSO
- Client will provide their Azure AD tenant ID to Funnel
- Funnel will then create an SSO Provider in Admin with the following settings:
- Provider Type: Azure AD - Open ID Connect
- Issuer URL: https://login.microsoftonline.com/<Client's Azure AD tenant ID>/v2.0
- Everything else blank
- Funnel will then provide the client’s Azure Admin this URL. They will click on the URL and authorize our application. https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=eca8b611-3607-4f5f-8d01-542431664f1d&response_type=code&prompt=admin_consent
- Once this is complete, Funnel should appear in the client’s Azure AD Enterprise applications and they can grant their users access to Funnel
- Users must be created in Funnel with the email address that matches their email in Azure prior to being able to gain access via Azure SSO. Users should also be assigned to roles and groups on the Funnel backend.
- Once steps 4 & 5 are completed, users should be able to log in via Azure SSO.
- The client should set the App so that it appears on the users ‘MyApps’ page (myapps.microsoft.com). This will place a Funnel button on that page. The user can then click on the Funnel button and be automatically logged in.
