Assigning a lead to an agent is an important first step to working with prospects in Nestio’s CRM. This article covers instructions for manually assigning leads. Learn more about Nestio’s automated and manual lead assignment options here.
How to Assign a Lead:
If your Nestio Account’s Lead Assignment policy is First Come First Serve or Manager Assignment, you will see the Unassigned tab appear whenever your team has new inquiries that have not yet been assigned. Here’s how to assign the leads:
- Navigate to the Prospect Management section by clicking on “Prospects” from the left-side nav. This should take you to the Pipeline view.
- Click on the “Unassigned” Tab. This is a list of all prospects that have not yet been assigned to an agent.
- In the agent column you will see an agent placeholder icon with a dotted border. Click on this icon.
- After clicking the icon you will see a dialog. If you are a manager you will see a list of all the agents on your team. If you are an agent, you will only see your name. Select the agent(s) you would like assign to the prospect and click Assign when done.
Once you have assigned a lead to an agent or yourself, it will no longer appear in the Unassigned tab--they will now appear under Leads.
